Day 19 | Muir Highway: 2 hours past Manjimup
69 km | zzOz total: 932 km
Gee, almost nothing to report today.
Just a day for tootling down the back roads on my way to Manjimup and then taking a secondary “highway”, the Muir Highway outta town.
I’m heading on the less touristy route towards Mount Barker but might cut down through a big national park in a few days to add another day or two to my eventual arrival in Albany.
The morning had plenty of climbing once I popped out of the unsealed Coronation Road, strangely the one with the “Disease Risk” from my westward ride, in an up and down kinda way.
The afternoon seemed easier although I might just be getting fitter, legs whirring.
Big storm predicted for tomorrow morning, might imply a day regarding the inside of the tent.
But it was a wonderful sunset.
