Day 140 | swimming at Marella Waterhole: one of my favourite camp sites

Marella Waterhole proved to be fantastic when I found it.
A long body of reasonably deep water with plenty of shade from the trees around. Best of all there is a decent rock ledge near the deepest part with good footholds to climb out of the water. I enjoyed the swimming and watching the small fish swim around.
No one else around.
Just the birds causing a mild cacophony and a few roos bouncing around on the other side of the waterhole coming in to drink.
Yup.
She’s a favourite campsite.
