Day 353 | Catching up on conversation: we do go on a bit

Esperance Day 55

Do blokes admit this sort of behaviour?

I realised that we’d been chatting for a while when people who had been out for the day started arriving back from the National Park.

It was raining intermittently and the whole town was closed for the Australia Day holiday yesterday. That’s my excuse.

It’s been a much needed 10 days fraternisation since I was bundled into Marius’s gold van and Antonio and I bored the others with our discussion of our two wheeled lifestyle. We’ve both been starved of smart conversation for an age and we’ve discovered that our interests coincide on more than just our preferred methods of transportation.

Antonio is off tackling the headwinds of the Nullabor today and I suspect there’s a serious conversation desert ahead for us both.
