Day 72 | finally Arkaroola in luxury: hey, clean(ish) sheets

Yes. I booked myself into some Arkaroola Sanctuary accommodation for the night.
To celebrate … umm … 2 months on the road … the end of the Mawson Trail … finally an affordable bed is actually available. (No arguments with the authorities today.)
For $30 you get a bed to sleep in with cleanish sheets and only slightly noticeable springs, and another bed to lay out all the bits and pieces, a desk (but no chair), most important 2 power points to recharge all those camera batteries, and a 200m walk to the toilet block where the toilets, showers and laundry are. I’m about 1km from the ‘shop’ (frozen white spongy bread available) and bar (open from 11am for the desperate).
I was so happy I went back and booked a second night.
