Day 32 | Adelaide: bonza!

64 km | Heading west total: 1,394 km

Into the big city via the scenic route through the Adelaide hills.

At least I knew you are prohibited from just blasting down the (steep) freeway into town so I had done some internet research in Wellington and found a recommendation from a local bike rider of a picturesque route that meandered north.

And up and down the hills.

Through Mount Barker.

Balhannah.

A locality called Summertown.

These are the steepest hills I’ve ever ridden.

I ended up going round the back of Mount Lofty even further north to a place called Norton Summit. I’m almost approaching Adelaide from the north.

At least the last 25km were downhill.
